Painted these nocturne tree trunks last night from studio window. Saw an orange/dark purple/smoky color sky behind the trees and wanted to try to paint them. Had window open and used a small light source to see a little bit to mix colors and canvas. There is still lot to learn when painting nocturne scenes.
