I went to paint plein air into a forest on Sunday. I had a plan to paint this forest more but I might leave it so far to a single plein air only due to a difficult subject: ice. You will see ice better in the following photos below.
Day #26 Forest Plein Air
The temperature was near 0 °C so it was nice outside. No sunshine. I did notice the brushes were moving quite tough because of cold. The surface is double oil primed canvas so that helped some.
Location photos:
Frozen water dropping down the cliff.
My pet was in the forest too for a brief moment. She loves forest, she didn't complain at all. :-)

Those icicles are beautiful and you have made a wonderful painting of it. I am glad Muffi enjoyed the experience too!
Thanks Rolina. Wish I could learn to paint transparent ice, it's so pretty in real life.
It's amazing how animals enjoy nature. She has learned to walk on deeper snow too.
